Designing for Learning
I design for learning — creating brands and experiences that make education more engaging, inclusive, and visually coherent. My work spans platform rebrands, interactive learning products, and national campaigns that inspire curiosity and connect students, educators, and families. Across every project, I aim to bring clarity and warmth to how people experience learning, whether in the classroom, on-screen, or in everyday life.
Discovery Education, Brand Evolution for K–12 Learning
Creative Director at Discovery Education
As Creative Director, I led the rebranding of Discovery Education, uniting eight acquired education brands into one cohesive design system. The goal was to bring clarity to a rapidly expanding ecosystem while maintaining the brand’s core mission — empowering teachers and engaging students.
I developed a modulesign language, scalable across digital platforms, curriculum materials, and events, ensuring every touchpoint felt part of the same story.
Outcome: A unified identity and design system that improved creative efficiency and strengthened brand trust across thousands of school districts.
Interactive Games — Turning Science into Play
Creative Director at Discovery Education
I led the design of a series of interactive learning games that transformed complex STEM concepts into hands-on, joyful experiences. Working closely with educators, I developed gameplay frameworks and visual storytelling that encouraged exploration through motion, character, and sound.
Outcome: Enhanced classroom engagement and measurable learning retention, with teachers reporting stronger student participation across multiple age groups.

BTS Campaign — Inspiring the Next Generation of Learners
Creative Director at Discovery Education
For a national back-to-school campaign, I directed creative strategy and design, developing visual storytelling that celebrated curiosity and confidence in learning. From digital content and classroom kits to social media and event materials, the campaign reflected how discovery happens everywhere — not just in textbooks.
Outcome: Expanded reach and brand awareness through cohesive cross-platform storytelling and educator-centered design.
Organization Leadership — Building Creative Culture
Beyond project work, I helped shape the creative culture within the organization — connecting product, marketing, and brand teams under a shared vision. I introduced agile design frameworks, mentorship programs, and cross-functional critiques that strengthened collaboration and design quality across departments.
Outcome: More unified creative direction, improved design velocity, and a lasting culture of shared ownership and growth.
Reflection
Designing for education means designing for understanding — translating complex ideas into experiences that invite participation and spark curiosity. Each project has deepened my belief that thoughtful design can make learning not only more effective, but more human.
